In 2024, 6,400 students received school supplies, 2,176 teens received holiday gifts, and 717 children received critical items such as clothing, beds, hygiene supplies, medical equipment, and more. Thanks to YOU, more than 9,400 total children were served in 2024.

Our Story
The Love Fund for Children was founded by FOX4 in 1981 following the groundswell of viewer support the station received after airing the news series “Thursdays Child.” We created a 501(c)(3), and began serving children in the FOX4 viewing area, and have since met critical needs for over 220,000 children in ways no other organization is addressing.
The Love Fund for Children, a 501(c)(3) organization, has been serving our community since 1981.
Over 220,000 children have received assistance. Beds, coats, hygiene products, and medical services are just a few of the critical needs we provided in 2024.
Currently, we know of 20,000 children in the KC Metro living in poverty. Can you help?
Your support has helped the Love Fund For Children meet the needs of thousands of children in our community.
