Meet Rebeca

Rebeca is an eight year old girl with cerebral palsy who loves babies, especially her baby brother, and cooking in her play kitchen. She enjoys many outdoor activities including riding bikes, swinging, going to the playground, and playing kickball. When the outdoor temperature is warm, Rebeca suffers from seizures due to the heat. She came to the Love Fund requesting a StaCool Vest to keep her body temperature from rising while outdoors. The vest allows her to continue her outdoor play even in the heat of summer without suffering from heat induced seizures. Last summer she outgrew her previous vest so her outdoor play was restricted. She is looking forward to many hours outdoors this spring and summer in her new vest.

The vest is a life saver. Over the summer she couldn’t use her old one due to it being too small, and she went into a seizure. It allows her to go outside to play. It’s amazing! Great for anyone with epilepsy.
