Meet JJ

JJ is loving his new magnetic blocks

Jayden who goes by JJ is an adventurous 11 year old boy who was in need of some stimulating toys and a new bed! Working on sensory integration, decreasing elopement episodes, and sleeping through the night was a top priority for JJ's family. JJ is on the autism spectrum; he is nonverbal and was experiencing difficulty sleeping and processing his environment. Sadly JJ is unaware of safety needs and has a tendency to run away in order to find new entertainment. JJ's guardian requested a new bed and sensory devices to stimulate JJ and help decrease outbursts and episodes. Thanks to an amazing advocate and your support, the Love Fund was able to provide JJ with the appropriate therapeutic items and a new bed. JJ is so excited to have activities to do in his home and to engage in with his mom! His unique need was met and he is now safer in his environment.  His mom has reported that since receiving his bed he is now sleeping 8 hours each night.
